When an adult main is purchased

If you dine in at Farmhouse Inn (find your nearest) or a Farmhouse Kitchen (find your nearest), you can get up to two kids’ meals when one adult purchases a main meal. The offer is valid for up to four adults and eight children (aged 12 and under) dining together.

It’s available from Monday to Friday from Monday 30 March to Friday 17 April, and excludes weekends and bank holidays. Kids' meals include a free standard or vegetarian kids’ breakfast, a junior carvery, or small pick n mix mains, and a scoop of ice cream. Adults must order either a buffet breakfast, main or carvery.

Children’s dishes cost between £5 and £7, while adult main meals cost between £8 and £13, but this can differ depending on your location. Overall, it’s a decent saving.

You don’t need to register for this offer, just simply dine in (it's not available for takeaway or delivery).

When an adult buys a main meal

If you dine in at a Flaming Grill (find your nearest), a child can eat for free when an adult buys a main meal. The deal is running over the Easter holidays on weekdays only from Monday 30 March to Friday 17 April.

With this deal, a child (aged 12 and under) can choose one free 'little appetites' meal (normally £3.99) and a free dessert (normally £1.99), when an adult purchases a main meal (normally £8.79 to £16.69). Prices can vary depending on location.

Little appetites meals include chicken nuggets, sausages, veggie alternatives, a beef burger, a roast chicken fillet and tomato pasta. If your child is a tad hungrier, you can upgrade and order from the bigger appetites menu for £1.

With a Blue Light Card

Show a Blue Light Card code at Greene King pubs (find your nearest) and you can get 20% off food, Monday to Sunday.

To get the code, you need to hold a Blue Light Card (£4.99 for two years – see more info), and generate the code from its website or via the app – you can't just show the card. It's valid for up to 10 guests (including the card holder), and on bills up to £200.

The offer can't be used alongside any other offer, menu promotion or on Bank Holidays, Easter Sunday, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Valentine's Day, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year's Day. You cannot use this offer in conjunction with Tesco vouchers. It's also not valid at Farmhouse Inns.

Via the free Greene King app

From Friday 30 January to Sunday 1 February, new and existing users of the free Greene King app (Google Play/iOS) can get a pint of Guinness for £3 at 800+ participating Greene King pubs between midday and midnight (depending on pub opening times).

It's valid at 731 pubs in England, 92 pubs in Scotland, and 12 pubs in Wales (find your nearest). Sadly, there are no participating pubs in Northern Ireland – see 'More info' below for other pub exclusions.

To get a Guinness for £3, you'll need to order and purchase the drink through the Greene King app. Each transaction is limited to a maximum of five £3 pints, but transactions aren’t capped per customer.

The normal price of Guinness differs depending on the location, but when we searched a central London pub, one pint cost £7.55, so it's possible to save over 50% with this deal. The offer can't be combined with any other deal or discount.

From Friday 30 January to Sunday 1 February, new and existing users of the free Greene King app (Android / iOS) can get a pint of Madri, Peroni or Birra Moretti for £3 at 300+ Hungry Horse (find your nearest) or Flaming Grill (find your nearest) pubs.

You will need to purchase your drink through the Greene King app. Each transaction is limited to a maximum of five £3 pints, but transactions aren’t capped per customer.

The normal price of the beer differs depending on the location, but when we checked a pub in East Sussex, a pint of Madri cost £6.10, Peroni £6.40 and Birra Moretti £6.30. The cheapest pint prices we found were £6.05 for a Madri, £6.30 for a Peroni and £6.25 for a Birra Moretti, making this deal better than half-price.
