The latest from Martin Lewis: Car finance mis-selling update
Millions of motorists have been mis-sold car finance and are due £100s back, and if you're affected, you can use our free complaints tool. Get your complaint in now if you haven't already.
However, while it's possible to complain for free, an avalanche of claims management companies (CMCs) has also been getting in on the act, and they will take a chunk of any money you're paid.
The financial regulator the FCA has just warned about misleading CMCs, and this week it launched a template letter to help you complain about a firm.
Hot deal: Get 2for1 at Pizza Express for just £1
Slice costs at Pizza Express: buy one qualifying main (including classic and leggera pizzas, salads and al forno dishes) and get another one for just £1.
The deal's available ANY DAY OF THE WEEK – so includes weekends – and ends on Sunday 12 July.
Key MSE News: Avoid overpaying for travel docs when booking with British Airways
Flying with British Airways and need a travel permit for your destination? MoneySavingExpert.com has found that the airline is pushing customers towards third-party tools that can cost more than official routes...
For example, you could end up paying £16.52 for an Australian eVisitor document that's free via the official route. So, don't just follow an airline's suggested link – go via official government sites where possible and beware copycat pages too.
From our social channels: Pay in pounds or local currency?
In a recent video, MoneySavingExpert.com founder Martin Lewis answers a question you're often asked on your hols: which currency do you want to pay in?
Whether you're in a shop, restaurant or elsewhere, the rule is simple: choose the local currency. If you pick pounds, the exchange rate is often worse as the retailer or ATM handles the conversion.
