Morrisons shopper? Check if you've got a share of £30 million in unused loyalty points – and redeem them before it's too late

Morrisons brought back its loyalty scheme in 2023 after a two-year hiatus, reintroducing its 'Morrisons More' scheme and signature £5 vouchers. Under the initiative, you earn five More points per product when shopping at Morrisons (subject to some exclusions). Once you've earned 5,000 points, you can exchange these for a £5 voucher to spend at Morrisons.

Check your Morrisons More balance

Points expire after 12 months and if your Morrisons More card has not been swiped in-store or used online for more than a year, all More points will be removed from your account.

Any exchanged vouchers expire either after 12 months for physical fivers and after three months for digital ones. So now's a good time to check you've not got any points or vouchers close to expiry.

You can check your points balance on the Morrisons app or website, or on the bottom of your printed receipt.

Convert your Morrisons points into fivers

Use the Morrisons More app? Click the 'fivers' tab from the navigation bar at the bottom of your app, use the toggle to choose the number of More points you'd like to redeem (these are in £5 increments), then press the 'Convert More Points to fivers' button. Next, choose whether you'd like to redeem the voucher in-store or online and press confirm.

This will trigger a one time passcode sent to the email address your Morrisons More account is linked to. Once you've received the email, just enter the code into the app. Your code will be verified, your points will be deducted from your total and your fiver will be created.

Don't use the app? Your More points will automatically convert to vouchers and print out at the till following a shop. If you use the app or website but would like to have your vouchers automatically printed, you can contact Morrisons to change your loyalty scheme settings.

How to redeem your fivers

Exchanged your vouchers via the app?

• If you chose to redeem in-store – you'll see the voucher on the home screen of the app and in the fivers section. The next time you shop and scan your More Card in-store, your fiver will automatically be deducted from your total.

• If you chose to redeem online – you'll see a code on the home screen of the app and in the fivers section. You will also receive this code via email. Just enter the code at the online checkout and the voucher will be deducted from your total.

Don't use the app? Just present your printed £5 voucher when you're paying in-store, along with your More Card.

There's no minimum spend required to redeem a voucher. But if your purchase costs less than £5, you won't get any change, so it's best to use it when spending £5 or more.

Boost your loyalty points

If you haven't already signed up to Morrisons More, you can do so for free online or via the app, which you can download from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Make sure you're making the most of your shop by putting your More card to use:

• If you're shopping in store – just scan your physical or digital membership card at checkout.

• If you're shopping online – your More card should be linked to your account and apply automatically, but you can double-check this by logging in to the Morrisons More website.

Use the Morrisons loyalty scheme app? Update it to the latest version, so you can keep track of your points and any offers. Updates may take place automatically, or you can update the app manually.
