Tips will go directly to hospitality staff under new legislation due to be introduced by the Government. The change, which the Government says will be implemented as soon as Parliamentary time allows for it, will make it illegal for employers to withhold tips from their workers.

Deals website Groupon faces court action unless it improves how it treats its customers, the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) has said. It comes after the watchdog found Groupon failed to provide some customers with cash refunds they were legally entitled to, only offering credit instead.

Ikea shoppers now have longer to make use of £20 gift vouchers that were given out as part of its annual Christmas tree promotion, as the retailer has extended their validity until 1 August. It comes after concerns shoppers wouldn't have enough time to redeem vouchers with many Ikea stores only just starting to reopen following coronavirus restrictions easing in England, Scotland and Wales.
